ABS light on
In the past I have had a problem with my brake issue and ignored it for a while now because I couldn't find out the problem. Every time I step on the brake pedal and when it gets near to the floor, it will feel like it has bubbles in it.
So today I went to Advance Auto Parts and I told my friend about it and he asked me, "When you turn your car ignition on, does the ABS light come on?" Well, I came to find out that it doesn't and I switched out the light bulb and it now works. Now, when I'm driving on the road the ABS light is fully on. Also, he told me that maybe that it can be the ABS sensors on the brakes.
So now I am wondering if you guys or gals have any suggestions? My car is a 94 Honda Civic Ex. It's a Canadian model with stock 4-disc brake ABS.

Re: ABS light on
try taking off, inspecting and cleaning all the sensors. see if there are any physical damage.. also how long have u had this problem? do your axles have the ABS rings on them?

Re: ABS light on
you can start by looking for the ABS code. check it the same way you would check a CEL but watch the ABS light flashes instead..
this may help you if it is a sensor:

also if your brakes feel bubbly, you should probably bleed the system and see if that helps..

Re: ABS light on
Well, I have bled the brake system (I lost count because of this problem) so many times before and couldn't come to a conclusion. I done it before and the problem started going away at first and then all of a sudden it came back.
Also, as for the axles. I can guarantee you that when I replaced the axles, they are the ABS axles. I bought it brand new from Advance Auto Parts since 2 years ago.
I will tomorrow however inspect and clean all the sensors. My question is though, "How can I start by looking for the ABS code?"
