Default ??? about lsvtec

im about to put a b16 head on my car. i was wondering if i can use a stock b16 (00 si) header or will i need a gsr header. i was told i needed a gsr one because the ls block sits higher. can anyone clarify this?

You'll need an LS/ITR or GSR header... The B16B/B18A/B/B18C/1/5 all have a 270mm deck which is 7mm's more then that of a B16A (263mm)... For this reason the B16A header is made shorter and will not fit... I would recommend an LS/ITR header over the GSR as it will have an oxygen sensor bung already welded into it, the GSR does NOT... The JDM ITR 4-1 is awesome and I will always recommend it... Peace

you can use a b16 one, you can make it stretch to fit.

but your ls one should be perfect.

You have a really tight oil pan to downpipe pipe clearance and just easier to use the LS/GSR/ITR headers... Do what you want...
