99 SI WONT CRANK!!!!
I can't get my Car to crank, i just dropped in a obd1 b16 in place of the obd2 counterpart, it's getting fire and gas long block is in time. Map sensor is not plugged in. would that cause it to not crank at all? the eg has the map sensor on the firewall, the ek has it on the TB.

It would def. crank even though the map isnt plugged in. Timing has nothing to do with the engine cranking over. Bad starter?
