99 si swap to 98
I have searched and searched... I am sorry if this has been covered but i just swapped a b20/Vtec (99si head) over to a 98 civic with gsr swap... i dropped thte motor in and tried to use the original gsr harness figuring its already wired up for vtec and what not. After all was done i got o fire it up to see if it works .. WTF? check all wires and changed starter. NOTHING! So i swap Engine Harnesses VROOOM!!! but now a small plug i had in the 99 doesnt have one in the 98. do i have cut the plug off the 99 or can the 98 run like that?

Re: (SMOOTHN)
if you dont want to swap the whole harness, get an obd2a->obd2b conversion harness.
checked under my hood for that plug, and i believe it's the one that goes into the cruise control..
take a pic a little further back, with more of the engine bay int e pic.
