Default 99 head on a 97 block?

Will this fit? I'm getting ready to order a 99 head and intake manifold for my 97 cx hatchback to add vtec. I know the ecu's are different between 96-98 and 99-00 but are the heads different? Thanks

Yeah I live in marysville. I plan on just using the y8 headgasket for right now. I actually got the intake, and head from people on honda-tech. Just posted in the classifieds and got about three responses. I actually haven't installed the kit yet, I'm still waiting on my AFC to show up in the mail. If you want some help with the kit install I'm hear to help. Feel free to hit me up sometime if you want to check my car out after the install. email is afout@columbus.rr.com

I paid 235 for the head and intake manifold, and 100 for the ecu. I have a couple names of people on here selling heads if you'd like I can post them so you can talk to them.
