i know i know.. flame me for not putting it in the appearance, but i want more feed back than just
1) remove the PIAA fogs and get OEMs
2) move the Autometer Tach
3) CTR headlights
4) etc..
I'm saving up for a b16b... i don't want to go turbo, at least for a while yet.. I've heard varied responses regarding b16b vs b18c vs. b18c R... any other reasons other than more torque in the 1.8L why I shouldn't get the b16b?

Re: 99 conversion (redlinetuning)
I actually like the car the way it is now. Don't waste your money on the B16b. You can get a GSR swap for the price of the B16B and be quicker.

Re: 99 conversion (Ricey McRicerton)
I know.. that's what I've been told.. I was just thinking get a GSR with a Skunk2 IM with the JDM header and call it good .. then just work on the internals like with the CTR cams and so-on....
Then again I want to be original and get the b16b so it can be closer to being a CTR...

I understand that's what you're going for, but paying more for a less superior part just isn't going to happen. I'll vote for that GSR swap.

Re: 99 conversion (b20vtecEK)
b20 is not a bad idea for the money. personally, i like the single cams but if you're gonna swap you might as well get the biggest bang for the buck.

Re: 99 conversion (shermanyang)
Hey ShermanYang.. ya.. I did hit up midway a couple times.. wasn't out much becuase as soon as i hit the road the cops start following me.. talk about profiling huh???
IMO.. i'm not into H22's into civic.. mainly becuase i want to maintain the weight distribution .. and consider that the h22 is ~$2300 complete. then after all the mods i need like mounts, shift cables and etc.. i'm est. close or maybe over $3gs too.. plus i don't like the low redline on the h22... that engine could easily hit 8k rpm and still be fine.. but honda decides 7.. so whatever...
thanks for the comments.

i disagree. if you get the CTR swap, you also get better cams, better IM, better geared tranny with LSD, better flowing head, and better pistons. swap a GSR crank and ITR rods in there and you have yourself a C5 basically, but your block says b16
