Default '99 constant misfire

Hey guys I'm looking at a 99 bone stock 140k civic for a friend. I'm a turf equipment mechanic but work on the side here and there. He says last friday in the rain his MIL lamp began flashing and running rough. I looked at it yesterday(monday) and it coded for:p0304,p0302,p0141,p1399,p0301 runs rough at idle and throttle.I began by replacing the 02 sensor which did not help then installed 4 new denso plugs which did not help either. The last thing I was able to do because of time was check compression. 150 all across. Also I put a spark tester on all four wires and they all spark. Car isnt hard to start.

Because I only have a chance to look at the car in spurts because it's not mine, what insight would you guys offer to look at next? Stock timing belt so could it be a tooth off?

Thanks. I dont work with distributors much. Should I be looking for arc marks on the rotor?

Going to replace cap and rotor Saturday. If that doesn't fix it, I will pull the valve cover and check timing.

Do a full ignition system tune up and replace the fuel filter. Then go from there.

Thanks Ron. I'll add wires and filter to what I'm replacing tomorrow.

I am having a similar issue on my 99 D16Y8. I had the CEL blink on me a few times now. It seems that every time I replace something it is fine for a week, then blink blink blink! So I pulled the codes and have only gotten P1399, that's it.

Replaced:
Plugs (3 time in 1000 miles)
Cap
Rotor
Wires

Check/Adjust:
Valves adjusted
injectors pulled and cleaned
TPS sensor re-calibrated
Timing done over (remove belt and start from scratch)
Timed to 12deg +/- 1deg
Sprayed carb clean around looking for vacc. leaks...None
Coil ohmed out fine
Dizzy is newer

It did it the first time after I put QFC reg in it. I usually run Shell. Andits beem doing it off and on for 2 weeks or so.

I really need some help im on an extremely tight budget. Any Help appreciated!

I'm no honda expert at all but maybe check to make sure the gasket on the dizzy cap is sealed up good and well.

Try making your own thread, instead of trying to steal someone else's. All your post does is turn this into a clusterfuck.
