99 Civic EX starting issues. Please Help!!
Here is my issue,
I have a 99 Civic EX, the car has been running fine, it has about 150,000 miles on it, and I have had zero issue out of the car, I have performed all the regular maintenance as well as a timing belt change at 90,000 miles. I wake the other morning to goto work and it will not start.
The car will turn over but will not fire up. I checked for spark and it is not getting spark, so I pulled the distributor cap off and it had some arching, so I swapped the cap, still nothing. I went and picked up a new distributor, plugs, and wires, still no spark. The car is not throwing a CEL, so I do a compression test, and it read 195, 190, 195, 195. I pulled off the timing belt cover, and it is snug as a rug, zero issues, everything is lined up properly on top dead center. I checked to make sure it is getting gas and it is. At this point I am at a loss for what to do next. Any suggesstions?

Are the rotor, cap, plugs and wires OEM?

While I would expect a CEL on a 99 Civic, facts are facts. No spark points to bad igniter or bad coil. Check all connections to these. Even though new, test them per the shop manual or http://www.autozone.com/shopping/rep...00c1528018f69d

When I get off tonight, I am gonna check the main relay, and test the voltage on the ignitor and the coil. I really appreciate the help, hopefully I can get this started my hatch is not the most comfortable car to drive. It's pretty cold outside.

NGK brand are one that Honda recommends. I'd be asking about the Iridium. I doubt it's the main relay. The following site should be helpful here: http://www.tegger.com/hondafaq/faq.html#startrun
