99 civic sedan tail lights fit 96 sedan
As the above says,will 99-00 sedan tail lights fit a 96 sedan if i use the trunk from the 99?? What i am wondering pretty much is if the outer part is a different size or shape from the different years? they look similiar but i can't tell. Any help would be appreciated.

I own a 98 and a friend has a 99 (both sedans)
Both the inner and outer tails are completely different.

I know for the inners to fit i would need the 99-00 trunk but i wasn't sure if the outers are a different shape. They look damn close to the same but not sure. Anybody know if this will work??
