i have a 99 civic ex
after the basic upgrades intake, exaust and a header what would be the next best for the money. looking to go all motor
what are the best upgrades for handeling
car is stock right now planning to run into about 2 grand to throw into it
nothing to extreem
money is not too big of a problem will fork out more money for good parts
any tips and tricks would be nice too

Re: 99 civic ex power and handling question (specialized108)
I/H/E will get you a few HP out of that motor. Dont expect alot. Boost it/swap it if you want more HP than the few the I/H/E will get you. If you dont want to boost and just want a little more power then do your bolt ons.
I would concentrate on suspention more than power if you only want to do bolt ons. I am in the process of doing my suspention research now. I would start with tires. I did them first and they make a world of difference. Next I am looking to add a rear sway bar from either a 99-00 Si, GS-R, or Del Sol Si. Then I will decide on shocks/springs. Up to you what order to do it in but theres a few things to get you started.

What about cornering speed?
