i saw the thread for ecu codes, and i was just wondering if the codes for 96-00 civics are the same as 92-95 civics. i checked the codes. its either flashing a 10 and 14 or a 24. on the thread for 92-95 civics there is no code 24. was just wondering if it could be 10 and 14. also if its a code 10 and 14 which according to the ecu thread, is the intake air temp sensor and idle air control valve. what do i do to fix these. and why isnt it flashing me a code for my VSS cuz i know that doesnt work cuz my speedometer doesnt work. what the hell is going on. please help. thanks

try resetting the ecu first and see if the code will pop up again

ok i reset my ecu and it still flashes me codes 10 and 14.
anyone know how i can fix this or whats causing it.

im such a dumbass. i had the y7 non vtec ecu plugged in. i think thats why it flashed a code 14, cuz i did a 3 to 2 iacv wire for the 5 speed y8 mani i put on. i plugged the p28 ecu in and it still flashes a code 10 which is the intake air temp. anyone know how to fix this, and anyone know if this could cause my car to have a rough idle and run shitty, and bog at 4000 rpm. please let me know. thanks

k, i tried some new stuff.
on my chipped p28. solid CEL with jumper and without jumper
stock p28. solid CEL with jumper. no CEL without jumper
stock d16y7 ecu. code 14. cuz i did a 3 to 2 iacv.
my distributor cap has a crack in it, but its brand new.
problem is my car sounds like its about to kick over but then dies.
even when i give it gas, if i hold the gas in then it runs. once i let the gas go it dies.
questions... wassup with my car dying out?
wassup with the solid CEL?
when i start the car up with the chipped p28 in, the car has rough idle, wont let me rev pass 4000 rpm. wassup with that?
please help.
