99-00 si // can strut bar go backwards // or hit map sensor?
I have a 99 si with the spoon strut tower bar... I wanted to put my stock bar back on as well, but it wont fit with the spoon...
So i'm trying to put it on backwards, I just have to cut some metal so the bar will clear the strut tops... almost done with that.
But the question is - will the backwards OEM strut bar hit the map sensor on the IM? It looks like it would be a close call.

**** dude i had a pic of one here on HT cant find it
anyways it barely fits (so i know itll be stiff) and i dont want to waste the energy pressing it on to find that itll hit the map sensor cause it looks MAD CLOSE to it...
ya i know the spoon one is good but why not double the power for free...

I want some of that strut tower bar POWER too.
seriously though, don't do it. It's gonna look rediculous.

if you install it backwards, it will hit the map sensor but you may have problems with it fitting right.
