Well my credit card is getting quite a workout these past few days. I have a question regarding the controls around the radio and if i can put a 99-00 style console in my 96 EK hatch.

You can put the 99-00 console in a 96-98, but it is alot of work. The HVAC controls on the 96-98 civics are cable driven, while the 99-00 civics are electric. Unless you can get all the HVAC stuff from a 99-00 civic, its really not worth it in my opinion...unless of course you don't care about function.....

Thanks for the prompt reply. The dash is going to be removed for paint and rollcage installation, so I guess i'll try it.

ok man, there is a big difference whether you want to use the usdm console or the jdm console. If you want the usdm console then you will need to get the wiring harness and heater box and everything else related to that to make it work. If you do the jdm console you will need all this as well as you will have to trim your ac vents and part of the metal. Not fully functional if you get the jdm one but it is pretty pimp. later
