Default 99-00 Mugen lip question

Hi guys - I need your help. I did some searching and didnt come up with any solid results:

Several years ago I bought an authentic Mugen front lip for my 99 civic. It was lightly used, no cracks. It's red in color with stone chips in the paint. I never installed it, no longer have the car and remembered I still had the lip when I was cleaning out the garage. Could I get some honest feedback on what these are worth? If need be I can get pics but any assistance would be helpful. Thanks in advance HT.

Sorry for the horrid phone pics. If more are needed please advise what specifically you need to see.

NOTE: I removed the badge myself to prep for paint then never had it done.

if its authentic(there have been people who rivet an authentic badge to a fake lip) and what seems to be in good condition with your description of it, id say its worth around $800-$900

I was just curious because if you bought it for a ridiculously low price, it may be a fake lip with real emblem rivetted in. I've seen that around here with Mugen RSX bumpers

What are other ways to tell if it's a real lip? Like material it is made of or other stamps????

the price was low because I bought it from a friend YEARS ago. I believe wholeheartedly, if it is a fake (which I believe now that it may be) that he had no idea - I trust him. I would just like to know.

I see NO markings on the inside of the lip, just the badge on the outside. It is plastic as well...

Honestly never seen an authentic so I have to ask the same question as above..
What should I be looking for? What would you need pictures of specifically to confirm? The only other markings I see are on the actual metal brackets for mounting (which say MU - 04).

Again, thanks for any input.

Real lips have the Mugen/Honda style part number stamped on the inside of the lip. I just sold my real one for $700. Yours sounds fake...

WELL, I used to have a Fugen lip on my old Civic Si... I now have an authentic Mugen lip on my hatch... the fake lip did not have any metal brackets, and the real lip does (IIRC, i installed it quite some time ago) and +1 on the Honda style part number.

One REAL easy way to tell is if the "vents" are cutout or filled. if they are cut out, itsa fake. OR some dumbass cut up a Mugen lip and needs to be slapped lol

I'll post pics tomorrow, they are on my camera - The vents are solid, not cut out. What specifically would you need pics of? I just have a few generic shots from the front: left, right, and center

Not thread crapping here...

Something like that is only worth as much as you're willing to sell it for and/or what someone is willing to pay.

If it was me, I'd throw it on eBay with a $300 minimum and see if there's any interest.

I'd use this for the description...

I think it would be silly to unknowingly sell something I (as the seller know) and most any interested buyer would know has decent value. I am posting this to ask those who have a better idea of the market what their idea of a fair asking price is.

This thread is not only to ask for input on pricing (as I have a good idea what I would like to see it go for,) but also to get confirmation that it is in fact real. So far nobody has been able to give me concrete direction in what to provide to determine that. I will provide better pictures to ANYONE who can tell me exactly what they need to see to give me a definitive answer.

I am unwilling to sell the lip until I have confirmed one way or the other. I want my sales to be fair to both parties, buyer and seller.

I in no way intend this to be rude - just replying to your comment.

Thanks for your input.

Ok this is easy. Does it have the Honda style Mugen part number stamped on the inside of the lip??? If it doesnt its a fake plain and simple. No part number no real Mugen!!! Quit confusing the guy...
