99-00 headlights question? Removed Reflector infront of bulb???
Well I always thought that that peices that sits infront of the bulb defuses to much light with my hids and I should take it out. My only question is before I seal this thing up is have any of you done this? and hows your light output?

I've never done it but buying the ctr headlights will solve that problem and look better IMO.

you forgot to mention it will also set him back $399'ish brand new... used slightly cheaper.
when while he's got them torn apart, he could just bring the housing to a local paint shop and have them paint it "hyper black" that'd be nice.

i dont think he cares about what kind of headlights he has he is asking about the light output. It will improve your light output. just watch out for angry night drivers.
