Default 99-00 front si lip question

So I was just wondering is the dealership the only place I can get a Si lip. I was under this impression for a long while then I was talking to some one who works at a body shop and he told me he can get in a 99-00 si lip from the company that supplies their replacement parts. My first though and main concern was it is just a type r style lip they have listed as a si lip. Can anyone clear this up for me?
Thanks

1999-2000 Civic Si lip = ANY 1999-2000 Civic OEM front lip. Same for the CTR. This lip was standard on the EM1 and EK9 and possibly a few other trims, but optional on all other trims.

You can buy these lips listed as either or both on many different sites, used or new. Try Craigslist, eBay, the Honda-Tech MarketPlace, and all the JDM parts sites you see listed anywhere on this site.

Yeah try to avoid buying it from a honda dealership. I asked how much the lip was for my EM1 and if it was to be painted EBP it was like 250?? or 300?? I forgot but it was expensive!

dish out the dough... if you want it done right and look pretty much perfect.

but, you can get the si lip for about $70 or somethin. and there is a write up about painting lips/sideskirts... and thats the cheaper way

Thanks NOFX, I did know that it was the same as all 99-00 trim civics as well as ek9 ctrs but its more common to hear si lip and thought i would get more of a response by wording it this way. My main concern being Is it the same lip because I was under the impression that there was not a replica and it could only be bought at the dealership. So you as saying I can pic this lip up else where and it will be the same lip not Be something like a type r styled lip where the flares are to big ect?

the EM1/CTR lip can be bought from most shops that carry jdm parts. You can also find them used, i'm sure you can find one where your located. It seems like the crowd overseas is pretty big as well. Just make sure your not getting the the oem style or replica of the EM1/CTR lip.

replica...

OEM (pics of my ride haha...)
