99-00 front-end conversion on a 96
what is the difference between a 99-00 front end to a 96 front end? it looks the same to me... any size difference? whats UP?

head lights dont fit, fenders are slightly differnt on the edge,blah blah its completely different, probably the only thing you'll notice is the fog light are of the 00-99 bumper

its the headlightthat mess up everything!!! They r smaller more narrow!!!
to conver to the 99-00 frontend u need:
Headlights
fenders
bumper
hood
Grill

It's ALL different.
You'll definitely need the '99-'00 headlights, grille, front bumper, hood and fenders. You might be better off replacing the core support too, but you could also either modify (i.e., bash in with a hammer) the '96-'98 core support and/or cut into the '99-'00 front bumper (these cuts won't be visible when the hood is shut).

The headlights are both the same size, but they're shaped differently. I guess you might be able to say the '99-'00 lights are a tiny bit larger, but it's not like the '96-'98 lights will fit in the place that the '99-'00 lights mount.

It's interchangeable AS A WHOLE. You can't just change the headlights for example. The rest of the thread above your post explains it pretty well.
