you need 99-00 civic fenders, hood, headlights, front bumper and grill. Everything is a direct fit except the front bumper. you either have to cut the the bumper where it goes by the grill. Or cut the brackets right by the headlight and grill on each side. then drill holes. it easy i just converted my 96 dx to a 99-00 frontend. theres a writeup just google search it

main way to tell is the bumpers from the 99-00 have a "vents" in the lower corners... a lot of ppl throw a fog light kit in them. the 96-98 is just a plain old bumper with no "vents"

I agree. I just converted my 96 dx coupe to a 99-00 but i really wish i would of went 96-98 Si-R bumpers with the moulding. Idk i like it ALOT on the hatches but it looks kinda goofy on the coupes sometimes IMO

The two front ends look nothing alike IMO..To me the newer front ends look more aggressive. And while the 96-98 front end might not look as nice stock, with just a few minor improvements it has much more of a classic Honda look. Stick with your front end, just get a lip, sir headlights and fogs..
