Are the 99-00 Civic SI external parts the same as JDM 94 B18C1?

Are the 99-00 Civic SI external parts the same as JDM 94 B18C1?
I am replacing a few parts: timing belt, water pump, tension pulley, and valve gasket, and I was told by the guy in the parts department of Honda that all 99-00 Civic SI external parts are the same as a 94 B18C1.
Is this true?

I'd imagine that the timing belt would be different...
Just get the parts meant for a GSR motor.

Yeah that is what I thought about the timing belt! But he insisted that they were the same.
Oh well, I guess I will go ahead and get the parts for the GS-R.
