99-00 Civic OEM Fog wiring?
Okay, i tried searching for a post regarding the wiring of OEM fogs, so that they can be turned on w/o the headlights being on. However, did not come up w/ any useful posts.
So, if anyone can point me in the right direction/link to the how-to, etc... that would be greatly appreciated.
Cliff: Looking for how-to which instructs how to wire OEM fogs to turn on w/o headlights being and w/ the high beams.
Thanks!

Here is the link

Did it to mine. Fogs are on with marker lights and stay on with high beams.
(Before the CTR headlights went in)

Read his question. Those are the instructions Honda gives with the fogs. He wants the ones to make them turn on without the headlights.

why don't you just make it easier by putting them on a toggle switch where you can decided when you want them on or off. BTW I hope someone beats your a** for blinding them.

Because there is something nice about using the factory wiring already provided by Honda. Its already there and looks so much cleaner than a toggle switch.
And I'm not worried about someone being blinded by my fogs with PIAA bulbs or headlights with PIAA bulbs but more the 115 watt PIAA off road lights going behind my grill. I feel for the next person to high beam me.

Beings that I already posted a link to the DIY, I don't think it should be a problem for anyone to figure it out.

Care to give some more details on this set up. Sounds like fun
Where exactly are you placing the lights and how big are they?
So you guys drive with no headlights, but the orange side markers are on with your fog lights? Then if you need more light you turn on the brights? What happens if your headlights are actually on? can you still use the fogs? How do the fogs turn on and off just a switch?

maybe not but your english is killing me...
I'd stick with the toggle switch... then it's your choice when you want them (period.)
