99-00 Civic hatch with em1 harness - need help wiring the resistor box
Hey their fellas, I'm in the process of wiring the resistor box into the harness...I followed this diagram here from hondatech https://honda-tech.com/forums/showth...540&styleid=18 the only thing I'm having problem with is that...my end plug has only 13 wires pinned in...versus his 14 pinned wires..how would i wire in that last extra wire? The car cranks, gets fuel spark but not enough spark! All the ground is their...

Got it (Sundays.....). I think you just need to be concerned about the injector plugs. Everything else should just be bridged, or connected, together. That dead plug isn't dead its just basicly providing either logic ground or power distribution to different sensors.
edit: also note that the image that you are providing from his thread is just the dead plug, or the male end side plug.

Here's what I did, pulled the first 4 yllw/blk wires in the middle and connected each one to the 4 red wires on the resistor box...and the other 2 yllw/blk comes into 1 and goes to the yellow wire on the resistor box..

Show me a picture of this different plug from your harness.
edit: the plug is the same, I don't see how its any different.

On the plug thats on your car, you have 13 total right? which wire is missing, yellow/black or black/white?
Look at the second to last image of the first post and it tells you to just combine them to the power wire of the resistor. If you're missing that one wire than your engine harness probably didn't have it to begin with. There's no point in searching for a wire that was never there to begin with, unless it was splice to ****. Since you're missing that last wire I sugges you sure you are connecting the correct injector wires.
