Wiring up resistor box
I have been doing alot of searching about wiring up the resistor box. I know theres tons of writeups on how to do this. All i want to know is when you check for continity, does the car have to be on the "on" position or does the car actually have to be running?

Re: Wiring up resistor box
If you have a volt meter, then the car doesn't have to be running. In fact, it won't be able to run because you'll have to pull the injector plugs and harness plug to trace the wires back to harness.
When I used one, I did it the way of just de-pinning the harness plug and re-pinning it back into my pigtail for the resistor box. If you have pigtails, this is nice because you don't have to cut your harness or solder anything.
