i was kinda mad at first
but it doesnt look too bad since my car is black to begin with
i dunno what you could use but whatever you use, you gotta be really careful not to remove the paint on your bumper as well

unfortunately for me, the shop i went to just plain sucked, they sent it out to get painted and the guy constantly gave me the run around and, when i finally got my stuff back, there were numerous things i didnt like but by that time i was just happy to get it back i just vowed never to go back, rather then make a scene and tell him off, which imo would have just made things worse, because he seemed the type to take it personal and have my car marked
the job was fairly cheap so i guess in the end, you get what you pay for

Just remove the paint with paint thinner. Tape off the other areas and just be VERY careful.

im sorry, but paint thinner is not going to eat through multiple layers of both clear coat and paint...

DO YOU WANT TO BET THAT IT WILL EAT THROUGH THE MULTIPLE LAYERS OR BOTH CLEAR AND PAINT??? Well, i mean it wont take off the paint right away, but let's say a drop gets on the paint, and you use a towel to wipe it clean again. Sounds good? Not really, because the chemicals aren't fully wiped off, and they'll dry on your paint and then the paint will start to loosen up and peel. That's what happened to my bumper when I painted my grills

I ended up cutting mine out... it's kind of messy though. Its not that easy to make a custom mesh grill in that area as well. U might look into fog lights, Grill craft, or do a good job cutting it. I strongly do NOT recommend trying to take off the paint. either cut it out or cover it up.
