my bumper now is scratched, faded, pitted, and scared. i can get a new front bumper cover for 60, but painting it is about 250, or i can paint it myself..
anyone with experience tell me how difficult it would be to paint my own (without the paint chipping in a month).
or maybe let me know some other options?
thanks.

do you have a quality spray gun capable of spraying urethane paints? air compressor? knowledge of gun setup? knowledge of paint application? knowledge on mixing paint ratios? do you have a resperator capable of holding out isocyanides? access to a paint booth or an extremely clean garage?
If you can't get a hold of the equipment, I suggest finding someone who paints and let them do it. or take it to the shop because by the time you spend your money on equipment and paint, you'll probably spend more than that $250
Painting is not hard at all, but you have to have some sort of experience and knowledge of the stuff. Meaning you can't learn how to paint over the internet, It's a hands-on experience.
let me know what equipment you have, and your skills. then we'll go from there-maybe i can walk you through it.
