'98 EK weird heat/ headlight issue...
Ok this probably sounds odd but I noticed when I turn my headlights off the heat blows out a lot harder. My dad said it might be the alternator but the car starts right up everytime. I recently just got a starter for my car also, if that information helps.
The heat barely gets warm and it only warms up to about an 1/8 of the way. It might be possible it has a lower temp gauge but I haven't check because it's freakin cold here...
Anyway any ideas will be greatly appreciated..also the car just started making a noise that kinda sounds like a supercharger....any thoughts on what that can be too?
Thanks for any help!

I thought the change in the blower power when the lights are turned on was fairly normal.
This goes way more in depth than I want to. I'm not exactly familiar with electrical systems.

If you have a bad alternator your car will still start but run off battery power.
The car never getting warm might have something to do with the thermostat. You might want to do a radiator service soon.
The sound could be alternator whine. I believe it's caused by electrical interference. Turn the volume up and the whine will get louder.
