98 Civic TypeR Engine Mods
Right I have a 98 Civic TypeR, I got it dyno'd and its putting out 197bhp at the wheels, it has a J,s Racing 4-2-1 manifold and de-cat pipe and 2.5" stainless back to a 5Zigen back box, so I dont know maybe something else has been done to the engine as well, ill know when they go at the gearbox. Based in Ireland so engine swaps are a no no. Just after putting a deposit down on an OCR Racing clutch, flywheel and final drive (4.9), anyone have any ideas what the 0-60 might come down to or what else can be done to increase performance. 0-60 is at about 6.5secs at the mo.

if its putting that much to the wheels, its got some MAJOR work done to it. since you don't know i assume you bought it used? anyway, near 200whp with a 1.6 is pretty hard to achive. get some really good tires maybe. but i doubt theres a lot you can do to the engine outside of forced induction to make more power, 200whp is about the most i've ever seen out of a 1.6, and that wasn't an engine i'd wanna drive daily
