Default 98 civic sedan - BUMPER REMOVAL

hey...

I'm trying to put a new bumper on my ek sedan... I've never done anything to an EK, so im not familiar with removing the bumper.

Anyone have a link to a DIY for this?

most bumpers are held on by pull clips and a few speed clips with bolts also look where the fender and the bumber meet you may need to pull the wheel wells out a lot of times you'll find the bumper bolted to the front of the fender bumpers are generally easy hr tops to remove hope that helps

This is simple. Open your hood and remove all of the push-in clips on the top of your bumper and grill with a flat head screwdriver (there should be about 7 of them).

then there are 2 screws, 1 in each wheel well, holding the bumper on the sides. take those out with a philipshead

then there will be 1 (or possibly 2) 10mm bolts holding the bumper on the bottom. remove them .

and there you go, now just pull out and wiggle the bumper off

no problem. I wrote that assuming that the sedans bumper cant be much different from a 97 hatch's, so if that doesnt exactly work, just look around for more screws/bolts holding it on haha
