Default 98 Civic Ex - overheating in the red

I have a problem with overhearing in my 1998 Honda Civic Ex. I changed the radiator, and thermostat. I also changed the fuses. it'll start and run for about 10 minutes before it gets into the red. The previous owner changed the water pump before me so I know its not that. I think it is the ECT but I'm not one hundred percent sure. I'm open to ideas

Never let the engine temp go into the red.

At this point, there's a good chance that the engine is toast.

the engines in running condition. Its just the over heating. The fan on the radiator wont blow. Ive tested it to see if the motor was blown, which it is not

^implies that the engine temp has reached the red zone.

You sure the radiator is good? Take the thermostat out see if it stays cool. This is kind of a method I've used in this situation so do with it as you wish buttttt, give it some gas to get the water pump moving and see it the gauge drops a little bit. I had a block guard keeping my motor a little warmer in traffic and if I gassed it a little it would cool down.

I replaced the radiator because it had a giant crack in it

Check your coolant level. Buy/borrow/rent a block tester, and use it. Do a compression test.

Are you close to the previous owner to trust there word? How do you know the part was a good known OEM water pump? Do you have coolant or just plain water? The needle on your gauge should be right below the middle when its completely warmed up. Keep your eye on the temp gauge and rev it when you see it goes pass the middle mark.

Yea like I posted earlier. Rev it if it starts overheating to see if that water pump is bad or the waters not circulating right. You don't need to jump your fan and all that hard wire it to see if it works, if it doesn't, worry about why your cars overheating and then mess with that. Your fans not going to keep your car from spiking into the red I can guarantee that
