98 civic dx stock ride height in inches?
so what is it i googled for like 45 min and found center of axle nut to top of fender measurements but they where all different (all other ppls posts not mine)
on a del sol forum they sayed front 15in rear 14in on a random civic forum they had front 14.5in rear 14in and on generic car forum sayd 13.5in on all 4 corners so i called my buddy at his shop and he sayed alldata only has the total car height at the roof of 54.1in
im trying to find how much my pre-owned honda was lowered so i can buy better springs for it but if every sight verries by 1in or more its going to be impossible.

I have no idea how low you are currently lowered remotely relates to buying new springs.

Of course everyone's numbers will be different - no one has brand new OEM suspension anymore. Even if they did, the numbers still wouldn't all be exactly the same. Like grumble said though, how low it currently is has nothing to do with what new suspension you put on the car.

Here. Simple math. Car should be 54.1 inches. Measure your car. Subtract the difference. Add that number to the axle to fender measurements.
How this even matters is logic I cannot follow.

Unless you know what spring rate you're running now. it'll be hard to buy a stiffer rate. You might mess up and get something softer.

well you could forget about the stock ride height all together and just measure from the middle of the axle nut to the bottom of the highest part of the fenderwell take that measurement and see who else has that same distance and you have the same drop as they do. im sure some one online in some forum posed there drop in inches and that measurement some where.
this measurement is not affected by tire size so its fool proof.
