Ok on my 1997 Civic coupe im trying to upgrade the speaker wiring on the driver and pass door because the the speaker wiring is getting a short in it. But i can figure out how to get the wire through the door grommet(rubber from door to the car). The kid who had this car before me messed everything up because he didnt know what he was doing and was high all the time. could someone help me out.

Use a knife and poke a hole through it large enough for the wire.

it has a plastic L cover to it so i cant see whats in there or feel what in htere. and i heard that its a connector but i dont know how to take it a part if it is so i can upgrade the wiring
