97 civic si viper alarm door lock problem (solved)
hey guys ive got a 97 civic si and ive wired up a new viper alarm 3305V everything works however when I press the lock button on the remote it will arm the alarm and lock the doors but when I press the unlock button it will only disarm the alarm it wont unlock the doors ive checked the connection its soldered on good also the factory door lock switch will lock and unlock the doors just fine...im not sure what my next step to do is...any pointers on what to test would be great thanks! the lock wire is currently soldered to the green/white factory wire on the drivers kick panel and the unlock wire is currently soldered to the green/orange factory wire on the drivers kick panel

Post the installation instructions and describe how you did the installation. Also post pics.

I soldered all connections double checked them all double checked all my grounds there is an aftermarket deck installed and the domelight doesn't work im going to fix that tomorrow after work could this be the issue about the locks ? the install drawing is lame doesn't give you much information I ended up searching online for info I don't have any pics of the install I can take some tomorrow here is the picture of the install drawing

Post a larger pic of diagram with higher resolution. It's difficult to read.
Is the stock radio still installed in your car?

Sometimes the outputs don't have enough power or don't flip/flop right for different door locks. Check the systems configuration and see if there's different pulse/polarity settings for the locks. You may need to flip the polarity on the unlock with a relay or use a relay to trigger it for more current.

all good I figured it out the green/orange wire going to the door was broken in the door harness everything is working fine now thanks for the help anyways
