Yeah, I have a '95 Civic EX and my window just came off a little bit ago... to make a long story short, I was washing window paint off my car and as soon as I rolled my window up it came off the track. I don't even think it was the paint, just the car. Cost me $40 to get it fixed.

I have a 93 ex coupe and both my windows have been coming off there track for about a year now... I use to take the door panel off and put them back in the track but every time I would shut the door and the windows were down, they would pop off again. It has been about 3 months since I have been able too roll up my windows. Did you have to take your civic to a window shop or your mechanic to get this problem fixed?
I am really glad to hear this might not cost me much to get fixed..

Re: 97 Civic Ex power windows (mikeinsanmarcos)
well it happened on the passenger side so i took the door panel off... and fixed the molding's... and then lossen the 3 bolts that are from the regulator and tighten tehm up again and a the molding got messed up again 2 weeks later and damaged the regulator witch cost 40 bucks to fix.. and then the same thing happen to the drivers side... but .... its better to do it your self.. i mean there is only 3 bolts and a regulator i think is like 30 bucks out of a ware house... maybe 70 SOMETHING out of store..lol...
