97 Civic DX - low fuel warning light in cluster doesn't work due to bad thermistor
97 Civic DX
My low fuel warning light does not work. The circuit tested fine because the light works when I jump the Blk wire to the Grn/Yel wire in fuel sending unit connector. Ohm testing additionally showed that the power and ground wires to the thermistor in the sending unit are fine, indicating a bad thermistor.
The typical way to fix this problem is to replace the entire fuel sending unit, which I have ordered.
However, I'm wondering whether anyone has ever tried to replace the thermistor? If so, what are the specs for thermistor?
