New 1.6 el cluster low fuel light
I was juste wondering if the low fuel light could work in my 97 civic cx because I changed the cluster from a stock one without tach and low fuel light to a 1.6 el cluster that has those things. I'm trying to make it go but I don't know there is always like 10 liters left in the tank when it's in the red zone and I'm not willing to stall on the highway without gas. tks

I searched guys and I didn't find anything that's why I'm posting this and I don't think it's a repost. Anyway I'll say it in other words, is the low fuel light linked directly to the voltage of the fuel gauge or is their a sensor in the fuel sending unit that thriggers the light to go on --> if it's the case, does my 97 cx hatch has on of those.

When in my 98 EK, I switched to a JDM ITR cluster and the low fuel light came on when it was low.. So that 1.6 EL cluster will probally work..

some reason, my fuel light stopped working, even after i changed bulbs and had different clusters, hasn't worked for years and i have a 2000 ek
