96 civic throwing codes... any ideas on the problem?
Hi, I have a 96 hx w/ 106kmi. it was running fine until last night I started it up and it seemed a little rough, got 1/4 mi down the road and CEL came on. It is running pretty crappy. it blinks sometimes when I am giving it gas. I limped it over to autozone and here's what they scanned:
P0301 - The PCM has determined that a misfire has occurred in cylinder 1
P0302 - The PCM has determined that a misfire has occurred in cylinder 2
P0303 - The PCM has determined that a misfire has occurred in cylinder 3
P1300 - Boost Calibration Fault
I have no idea what the last one means, but thinking it might be the cause of the misfiring in 1,2 and 3 cyls? I looked at the cap & rotor, both look ok compared to ones I have seen before. And the plugs & wires seem fine.
It was running fine on the way home from work last night, then a few hrs later all this started. any ideas on what i should start replacing first?
thanks
