96 Civic gauge needle lights and climate control lights don't work
Hey guys I need a little help troubleshooting an issue. It's a 96 Civic, I just bough it a couple weeks ago. So I noticed that the gauge lights don't work as well as my climate control buttons. Everything reads fine it's just the needles that don't light up. The numbers and check engine light brake light etc work. So I've looked and looked on here and other forums and I can't find a solution. I've checked all the fuses none of which are blown and it does have an aftermarket radio so I'm wanting to say it's something to do with that. I have replaced the dimmer switch it is NOT the dimmer switch and I have taken apart the underside of the dash so I can see all the wiring. No shorts or cut wires or anything. Anyone had this issue and have any ideas???Thanks so much in advance guys. David

have you thought that maybe the light bulbs are burnt out after 18 years? I know that happened with mine..

Your dimmer switch is broken. Google it
I just hard wired a switch where the dimmer switch use to be.
