96-00 Ek spring install question
I did my first spring install today and it was pretty smooth. But after I lowered the car back on all fours. I noticed that the rear is lower than the front. So I checked and the rear has a 1 finger gap and the front has a two finger gap. I installed the longer beefier ones up front thinking that the engines weight would compress th spring btu i guess it didnt. Was i wrong in puttin the longer beefier ones up front? Some one help me cuz my car looks like i got hidden mexicans in the back.

Mine did the same thing....Just drop a b18c1 in it and it will lower the front pretty close to even with the back lol........

When I did my Tein S-tech springs is kinda did the same thing. Just drive it around for like a month or two. I did actual measurements from oe to after the drop, then a few months later. The rear height didnt change but the front dropped another 3/4 to 1 inch more.

Any spring that will 'settle' is usually of pretty poor quality. Hondas always look 'lower' in the back than the front when installing springs; as well as being lower on the driver side than the passenger side.
