This is a picture of my passenger side (R) power door lock unit:




I was wondering if the thing circled in red is the door lock actuator or if its something else? It does have wires comming out of it that plug into the door harness.

I know this is the driver side actuator (in the picture below) becuase I have it on my driver side door, but it looks alot bigger then the one on the passenger side (picture above). I am very confused so any help you could give would be great, Thanks!

i really dont know what that first picture is...
second picture - the big plastic thing is your actuator...or your oem power locks

If that is where the wiring is coming from, there isn't anything else to power the door locks so the door lock actuator is the only thing that can be.

Its kinda weird because I am trying to get that black plastic cover in the second picture to go onto the door lock unit in the first picture but I can't seem to find where it fits in, I even ordered a new one from honda thinking I had the wrong part..... If anyone could provide a picture that would be awsome!!! Thanks again!

It doesn't go there, open up your driver side door. You will notice either 3 screws or four silver screws right at the mid point where the door actually closes. That's where the second pictured item installs. If this is just a replacement, you need to remove the original one and put in the one you have pictured.

The side facing down, is the side you place the screws into.
