Default 95 honda civic clutch problems

Replaced slave cylinder and master cylinder. Slave cylinder isn't pushing in arm far enough for it to engage in gear. Turns on but has no clutch play, clutch is brand new. No leaks in line from master cylinder smh I have no idea what it can be if anyone can give me advice please help

Did you bleed the line?

As Turbo1983 said, it is important that the master cylinder piston comes all the way back when the pedal is not pressed.

I'm betting you didn't bench bleed the M/C

New to Manuals, is there a place to bleed the m/c as well as the s/c?

You bench bleed the MC prior to install. It will make sure you don't have any trapped air inside of it. If you don't do this, you will never get the air bubbles out...

You can bench bleed when installed, you just need to disconnect the hard line and then connect a line that run back into the reservoir, so you have essentially looped the mc to its own reservoir. Pump a few times till no bubbles, then reinstall the factory hardline and bleed accordingly.
