New clutch ,new master cylinder, engauges right off the floor
I recently put in a new clutch, the engaugment seemed fine kind off the floor but not right off the floor. Well a few miles later 45 to be exaclt my clutch master cylinder whent out. I replaced it, bled the lines free of air (or DID I??)
and now I try to drive the car and the clutch now seems to engauge seriously like right off the floor...
Mabey im not used to it, but I made this post to see if you think #1 There is still air in the lines #2 The clutch pedal needs to be adjusted
Or mabey im just not used to a Good new master cylinder that works...
Its a 6 puck unsprung clutch.

well you should have adjusted the master cylinder when you first put it.
but most likely you have air in the line.

Did you bench-bleed the master cylinder before installation? If not, it becomes much more difficult to get all the air out with the wrench-and-pump method.

ok did more research, It would have made life easire if I wold have bench bled it....
I need to keep bleeding it! Also, when I bleed it , I need to take a vac hose off the bleeder and put it in a cup with brake fluid
tootles.
