95 GSR EG HATCH OVERHEATING
Hello, NEW to this forum wanted to see if I can get some help on this mysterious overheating.
so I just bought this gsr swap hatch, been running fine no overheating for couple weeks, today I was cruising and did a little 3rd-4th gear pull no biggie and then i noticed my temp gauge to rise up past half mark so I instantly pulled over shut off the car and popped the hood and noticed coolant coming from the head gasket where the stamp is but the head gasket was redone so I knew it wasn’t that.. looked up and saw bubbling and a small amount of coolant coming from the upper radiator hose housing... never had this problem. Anyone know why the car is overheating ? I don’t think that small amount of a leak can cause a overheating issue

Oh contraire mon sherie
that leak will cause your car to overheat. Any leak will.
Sounds like a hose has a pin hole leak, and needs replacing.
best to find the source and know, rather than guess.

It it was leaking from there very slightly
is there suppose to be a gasket on that housing ?

Leak was coming from here, does anyone know if there is suppose to be a gasket here or ? It was a very small leak that’s what I’m saying I don’t think that could cause it to overheat.
