95 DX crank pulley install
So I have had problems with crank pulley bolts loosening up and the pulley falling off. Well last time I put the car together I just used red thread locker on the bolt and tightened it as much as I could with a hand ratchet. It was fine for 35k miles, but I just put a new AC compressor on and got the AC working. After I pressurized the system and tested it out, a few miles down the road the crank pulley loosened up and fell off. Im guessing the added stain on the serpentine system from the new compressor made the not-so-tight bolt come loose.
So what do you guys do when you install crank pulleys? Red threadlocker and an Impact?
Thanks for any help in advance.

Get a new bolt and torque it to spec. When you torque a bolt it stretches, or at least should if you don't surpass the elastic limit, which is where it permanently deforms.

Stick a screw driver in the flywheel teeth... there's a cover with a few bolts in that you can remove and have access to it. Jam a flat head in there so it doesn't spin, get a large torque wrench, possibly with a bar attached if needed, and torque it to proper spec. That's crazy man, torque important bolts like that down! Can't get by guessing with a small ratchet.
