is the car stock right now? (no suspension, rims, etc.) if so i would say do a little suspension first. after all, what does it matter how fast your car is if it handles like an suv in the corners. also when i bought my hatchback it had the d15 in it and i bought the intake and exhaust for that engine and when i swapped it for the b16, the intake mounted right up the same and the exhaust only needed very slight modification. good luck!

im not saying this is always the way it should be done but in my opinion, handling and traction comes first. when im building up a car, i like to put a little better performance tire on the steelies. then build the suspension. i like doing it this way because, once the engine is finally in the car, i can go out and drive the **** out of it without worrying about the car careening into the ditch because the tires or the suspension couldnt handle it. but like i said, the cold air AEM i bought for my d15 had no problems mounting on the b16 and the exhaust was trimmed by like 1/2 an inch.

Do suspension, wheels tires, maybe even a brake upgrade. Skip the bolt-ons until you do a swap.

The car will be a blast with a suspension/wheel/tire setup.
