95' Civic - Need to find VSS line for aftermarket cruise
Hi All. Would anyone know where I can find the Tach and VSS connections on a 95 civic LX? I am installing an aftermarket cruise and these are the only two connections that I am not absolutely sure of.... Thanks

vss is in the speed sensor plug on top of the transmission. tach is in the tach test connector taped to the plugs on top of the drivers strut tower. it is a blue wire and can also be found in a 2 pin plug at the distributor. i cant remeber the color of the vss wire but i always catch it at the sensor. keep in mind you dont need to hook up tach unless its a manual transmission.

Hmmmm. sounds like I am hooked up to the right ones. I havent road tested the cruise unit yet but i did notice that it if I engaged it while idleing it would rev the motor for a second and then allow it to idel back down. The brake cuts it out properly though. Any idea why that would happen?
