i have a 95 civic with a b18c1 its been running good but yesterday when i went to start it no luck the car would just crank so when i got home i checked all my fusess took my egni. off and the little white peace behind it to start it up and it did the same **** but if i hold the key on it will stay on

For a 95 Civic, if the ignition switch is bad, you need to replace the entire lock cylinder on the steering column.

uh no you dont, just replace the harness from the ignition switch to the plug on the driverside panel. i replace these all the time at my shop.

Based on the information provided by the OP, I think the problem may be the ignition switch itself (part of the lock cylinder) rather than the wire harness.

is their some kind of relay i can test out cuz i just dont want to throw parts at it

Get a multimeter and check the ignition switch:

i checked those out yesterday with a light tester and they had power. heres the thing thow when its on the last click before it turns on all the lights on the dash dont light up like before and the radio and windows wont move but if i go a little past that point it will go on then the car will crank and shut off when i let go of the key if i hold the key in a serten spot where the starter aint going it will stay on so im guessing that the ign. is bad but when i removed the white peace on the opesit side of the key and tryed to turn it on from their it still shut off yester day when i follwed the ign. wires (7-p connector) they lead me to the fuse box could it be some thing in their thanxs for all your help man
