CEL remains on steady?

Any spark at the plugs?

A D15Z1 engine uses a P07 ECU.

Also test the main relay.

Check fuses 31 and 24.

But is there a P07 auto ECU?

Is this a stock US D15Z1, or the JDM/EDM equivalent?

check the engine code, or take a picture. if it is a d15z1 you need a p07

Recently at the junkyard I saw a D15Z1 block and head (P07) with a P08 intake and not the standard Z1 exhaust manifold. The trans was covered in oil, but it was an auto. Someone had already taken the ECU so I'm not sure what they were using.

OP, the VTEC (VTEC-E) you're trying to activate is only going to give you one additional intake valve per cylinder above 2500rpm. Non-VTEC is a 12 valve mode, VTEC is a 16 valve mode. At 5500rpm that engine will produce 92hp on a good day new from the factory.

The only person you'll impress with that is a guy riding a donkey.

My civic Runs with the p06 ecu. But with not rev past 4000 rpm. So I bought p28 -a52 ecu but Mil light never goes off and the fuel pump never engages. I put the p06 ecu Back on the car. It starts up and runs Ok.
