Default 95 2dr Honda Speedometer problem

Hi, I have a 95 2 dr Honda Civic. When I'm driving the speedometer does not record the correct speed. It reads lower than what I'm actually driving at. I checked the gears on the transmission and they're ok. I don't know if the problem is with the speedometer clock is bad. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Default Re: 95 2dr Honda Speedometer problem (Buddy10297)

mine registers me at about 5 miles faster than im doing. my other civic was 3 mph offf, my sisters is 4 or 5 off.

i think its pretty common

if my speedo says 65 im doing 60.

i know a cop and he clocked it for me. if you can figure out how much your speedometer is off just go by it.
