94 not idling smooth

94 not idling smooth
I have a 94 civic.....
When it is idling the rpms vary up and down..
Is there a idle sensor of something that makes it idle at a given rpm.
If you give it a little bit of gas it smooths out..

that is your IACV, check to see if your throwing any cells....there is a link at the top of the page, but it is most likely that
same thing happens on my car, i hear if you take it apart there is a little screen that you can clean with carb cleaner, and it solves the problem, im just to lazy to do it.

a cell is the code your ECU sends saying something is wrong, there is a big post with helpful information at the top of the post listings
