94 Hb W/ 94 F22 Swap, Help Plz!
Ok, i got a 94 accord ex engine, tranny, and ecu for really cheap. So I want to do a swap into my 94 civic HB cx. I need some information. I know I gotta get the mounting kit. What axles should i use? I heard 90-93 integra axles. Also, will the harness plug into the ecu? I'm hearing different stories. I think it may, but then i have to run the vtec wires. Just basically tell me what problems i may run into or what i need to do the swap. I'd appreciate any help. One more thing, do you think that engine is gonna be too heavy for my HB, or it shouldnt be that bad?
(try to be different and end up shooting yourself in the foot )

Axles - dunno
Harness - dunno
You'll definately need VTEC wires.
The engine will cause a nice push (understeer) but with a properly setup suspension you should be fine.

Bisi is supposedly doing a kit that has mounts/plates and everything to use a f22 into a civic with a d series tranny. try http://www.dseries.org for more info.

hey civicdxtyper - where'd you get your f22b1 swap from? and how much did it cost? ... i've been thinking about doing this swap too for my 96 hatch but i can't seem to find any place that sells this swap ... another question i've been wondering about also is do you guys know if we'd be able to keep our ps and ac?

i've had it lying around in my garage for 2 years now. its kind of a long story how i got it. my dad paid for it and he'll give it to me for free. all i have to pay for is mounts and axles.

thats cool. i think hasport has a mount that'll work for this swap. and once you get the other stuff you need definitely post up on how it comes out. i'm very curious how it would perform in our cars.

the civic tranny won't bolt to an accord tranny.

ya, i have to use mounts and axles made for the h22 swap. mounts are going to cost me around 450, and 90-93 integra axles will probably cost around 75. for linkage i'm probalby going to just rig something up with the accord linkage. however, i won't be doing this for another couple months because i need to sell my current hatch first and get another one.
