94 hb dx: Ignition lock broken after theft
My car was recently stolen. motor still runs, ignition acts accordingly. but without the key in the ignition, you are able to turn the steering wheel all the way left and right. BUt it does make a clicking noise every 1/4 turn.
what seems to be the problem? will i have to replace the ignition? column?

well mr. dirtbag, they might have messed with your steering wheel lock. Did u lock your steering wheel when you last left your car? They mightve tried real hard to start the car.

Steering column if i remember correctly. Thieves generally unscrew the ignition switch and just turn it with a screwdriver, then they put a bar through the steering column and turn it to break the locking steering column.
